Things to know before placing an order with thatgirlsbathandbody.com: Please take a moment to read the information listed below on processing time and shipping, and work hours. Some of this information is noted through out the website, but is added to this page to make it easier to find. It is important that you understand this information before hand, so that there will not be any confusion, misunderstandings, or disappointments with your order.

That Girls Bath and Body Work Hours: Business hours 9am - 5pm Monday Thru Friday and work mainly in the evenings. Orders placed after 5:00 pm on weekday will not be processed until the next business days. Orders received on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until the following Monday (unless a store holiday). Order Deadline: Busy Season Sept 1 - Dec 31. weeks depending on the size, date of order, and location. Processing of 5-8 business days and up to 15 not counting weekends. Holidays may take longer, Please allow an additional 8 but up to 4-6 for processing, production time and delivery. Contact us for more info or go to the Before Ordering page.

Processing Time: ALL PRODUCTS AND GIFTS ARE HANDMADE AND MADE TO ORDER. Many may think that when placing an order items are kept in stock and ready to be shipped out the day of their order. Since the customer is paying for Priority mail they should receive it within 2 days or so of ordering. This is not the case, but we hand make all of our jewelry and bath and body products. Products are made to order to arrive at peak of freshness.

Why Freshly Made? So they are made to order and then they will arrive at your home at peak of freshness. Thatgirlsbathandbody.com does not mass produce or have a stock of premade items on shelves. Each soap is hand cut so no two are alike, all unique. That Girl's Bath & Body does not have a large team of workers helping make, or package orders, so it takes 5-8 days to process, approve payment, confirm, and make your order from the time of payment and always in the order that it is received. Sometimes the processing time will not take as long pending quantities ordered. Please allow a minimum of 5 business days (not counting weekends or holidays) for production time. These are estimated times of production and delivery and not guarantees. That Girl's Bath & Body can not make guarantees date of delivery.

Delivery

Q: How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

A: Soaps and balms must be delivered within 72 hours after they are made. We keep a small supply of some of our products on hand and replenish as they are ordered so that they arrive to the consumer at the peak of freshness. Most orders in stock with take an average of 3-10 business days with Priority mail. Please allow product to be made and delivery time. Allow orders up to 15 business days for delivery,(Mon-Fri), pending payment approval. Excludes weekends, busy season and holidays. Some items may need to be delivered First Class Mail or Parcel Post.

Shipping Time: Please allow 3-10 business days to receive your order. This includes the processing time of 5-8 days as stated above and the delivery time of 2-3 days once shipped, which all packages are sent by method of USPS Priority Mail unless other wise requested or stated. In most cases some may receive their orders sooner pending size and quantity of order but 7-15 days is given in case of any delays or a high volume in orders. SHIPPING INFORMATION AND CHARGES

Q: How do you ship orders?

A: We ship USPS for all our shipping. We send most packages Priority to ensure prompt arrival of our products with the least impact from climate. You may choose the type of shipping at check out. We may send some items First Class Mail if possible due to customer request or cost.

We ship to the 48 Contiguous United States. ADD international delivery to Canada and Mexico, Next working on Europe. Here at That Girl's we hope to have Europe delivery added to our shopping cart before the new year. Add your email and name to our mailing list to be the first to know when this will be happening. We ship USPS usually Priority Mail or First class mail unless otherwise specified or requested. We combined and discount shipping while try to utilize the USPS new Flat Rate Boxes when ever possible. Only actual shipping charges, shipping extras like insurance, our time and packaging material are used. If the shopping cart charges you more than necessary, as soon as we become aware we will immediately refund the difference. Your items are wrapped and packaged carefully to ensure a safe trip. Purchasing insurance is a very good idea because That Girl's Bath and Body is not responsible for loss, stolen or damaged packages. We have no control over the fate of your package once shipped.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FAQs:

We USA Canada and Mexico, later adding Hawaii, Alaska and Europe hopefully before the New Year. After the New Year we have plans for shipping personal orders worldwide! No wholesale orders outside the USA. We will ship your package USPS First Class. Unfortunately, the USPS system does not provide tracking on international first class shipments. If you would like some type of tracking as delivery or signature confirmation and possible insurance choose from the shipping list during checkout. USPS does not include tracking in detail. Depending on your region of the world, holidays, weekends and customs, shipments usually arrive to you in 14 days or less. If your package is held up in customs, this can increase the time frame up to 45 days. Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Many customs offices will charge a fee based on the weight of the package, regardless of the dollar amount listed on the claim form. If this is of concern to you, we recommend placing small orders, as our packages can become heavy due to bubble wrapping certain items (to prevent damage or breakage).

We cannot mark your package as a gift or write a lower value on the customs form. This is mail fraud and we will not take the risk of being fined.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders to Brazil, Turkey and Australia have encountered delays due to customs policies. PLEASE ALLOW 42 DAYS BEFORE CONTACTING US REGARDING ORDER DELIVERY TO THESE COUNTRIES. These countries coming soon.

Shipping Insurance

Shipping Insurance is offered for customers to safeguard Shipping insurance is not including on order under $50. Packages sent to unconfirmed address or Orders over $50 are required to purchase insurance. Unconfirmed address are subjected to verification and purchasing shipping extras. Shipping extra services are as follow: shipping insurance, delivery or signature confirmation. We may contact the buyer for additional information. Purchases over $70-100 are subjected to buying signature confirmation to safe guard you package.

Delivery Confirmation Number:

All orders are shipped with a delivery confirmation number and an e-mail notification will be sent when time allows to the email address provided during checkout. You will receive an email with a delivery confirmation number once your order is shipped out. You can check the status of your shipment online at www.USPS.com Please note that a delivery confirmation number is not a tracking number. USPS.com will only update the information once the item is delivered. *Note E-mail notifications are not always recieved though, in some cases they are blocked as junk mail or returned back undeliverable so if you do not recieve an email notification of your delivery confirmation number please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to track your package and give you any information needed on your order. Priority mail may not be available for PO Box, APO or other similar type of address. Delivery confirmation is not available for APO address.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For your convenience we accept the following most major credit cards and debit cards with payapl: Visa & Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.

Q: How do I place an order?

A: Placing an order with us is Fast and Secure using our online shopping cart. To place an order, simply click on the add to cart button which can be found with each item description. You will have the option to check out or continue shopping. If you experience any difficulties in placing an order, please contact us via email.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

By using the "Add to Cart" buttons you can place your order and make payment using credit/debit/check card through PayPal. This is the preferred method of payment.

Why Can't I order from your site?

When customers can not order from our store, the problem is most likely that they cannot make a secure connection to the server. Why we use them?

After the consumer places the order, we send them back to whatever page they lasted viewed on our site. The order form is secure and the regular site pages are not.

A: Items purchased wholesale for resale purposes carry a 7 day initial satisfaction guarantee. We carry quality merchandise and if for any reason your not happy with the merchandise you may return it for credit, replacement or a refund. Any merchandise being returned must be unopened and not used due to the nature of this products. You must have been given return authorization via email BEFORE being returned. Q: What is glycerin Soap?

A: Handmade soap contains the natural forming glycerin, made naturally during the soap making process, that is normally removed from other store bought soaps. In order to make the extremely hard french milled soaps, not made by hand, the glycerin must be removed or the soap would be too soft. Companies may extract the glycerin through a variety of methods and then add a percentage back to say it contains glycerin. On average handmade soap contains around 10% naturally retained glycerin. Glycerin soap is especially good for sensitive/delicate skin, minor skin conditions, children, and for pets.

Q: What is glycerin?

A: Glycerin is a humectant. This means that it draws moisture to the skin and helps retain it. Most commercially-produced soaps have the glycerin removed during the process and sell it separately or put it into other products.

Our soaps are made using the highest quality vegetable oils, essential oils, cosmetic-grade fragrance oils and exotic butters available. We do not use any artificial colorings as our products get their shades from the natural saponfication of various oils and the addition of herbs, vegetable powders and other botanicals.

Many commercially made soaps contain detergents which can irritate skin. Handcrafted soap is very mild, so those who are sensitive to detergents may benefit from using natural soap. Also, the handcrafted process does not produce any harmful by-products and is safe for the environment.

(Note: As with any product it is possible some people may be sensitive. Discontinue use if any signs of sensitivity or allergic reaction should occur. Some products contain a minimal amount of coconut oil or other "nut" butters so persons with nut allergies may want pay close attention to ingredient listings.)

How is soap made?

Soap is made through a process called saponfication. Without saponfication you can not have soap. All soaps are made using oils and sodium hydroxide (also called lye), it is false to think soap can be made without it. During the Saponfication process this combination of acids (oils) and alkali (lye) is chemically changed into soap. There is no lye present in the finished bars of soap.

There are many variations of this process but each results in a very mild bar of soap which still contains the moisture loving glycerin produced during the saponfication process. Glycerin is a natural humicant which aids in moisturizing skin by drawing moisture from the air.

Does your soap have lye in it?

No! Many people are under the impression that all handmade soaps are the same as the harsh "lye soap" grandma used to make. The fact is soap can not be made without the use of lye in the initial process. Even commercial soaps begin with this same basic process. Though the process is still the same the end result is quite different. The harsh soap remembered from the old days more than likely contained excess amounts of lye from imprecise chemistry and lack of measurement. Modern soap making has become a very precise science. During Saponfication the combination of acid (oils, fats, or combination of) and alkali (lye) chemically change into soap. There is no lye left at the end of the process, it is used up completely. What is left is the purest form of soap and natural skin loving glycerin that in no way resembles the lye soap of old.

How is handcrafted soap different from the commercial name brand soaps bought at the super market?

Most commercial soaps are mass-produced via the continuous process using inexpensive rendered animal fats such as beef tallow or lard. To further cut their production cost, many manufacturers use an alarming list of synthetic detergents and petroleum based chemicals to extend, preserve and enhance their product. Read the labels and you will notice that most are not soap at all, they are actually synthetic bars of detergent. To cut cost even more, manufacturers extract the natural humectant, glycerin, during the process. It is then sold as a by-product to other industries for profit, and replaced with synthetic additives leaving the consumer more often that not with dry, itchy skin that feels tight. Remember this...True soap is not detergent and true soap does not need to be "enhanced"!

Our soap is made in small batches using the highest quality vegetable oils available. The naturally occurring glycerin remains in finished soap leaving you with pure natural soap.

Q: What are the benefits of using handmade soap?

A: It is believed that the healing properties of a handmade bar of soap are great for those who suffer from skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. As well as people that have sensitive skin or are hypoallergenic. They often find immediate relief by switching to handmade soap. Handmade soap is very mild. They are often made from vegetable-based oils and do not contain the potentially harmful chemicals found in conventional bar soap. One of the biggest differences between commercial soap and handmade soap is glycerin. Glycerin is a clear liquid that absorbs water from the air and is a key factor in keeping skin soft and healthy.

Q: Can I make my handmade soap last?

A: Handmade soap contains glycerin, it can retain more moisture than other soaps. To extend the life of your handcrafted soap, place it in a well-draining soap dish. Keep unused bars in a cool, dry place out of direct contact with water and sun light.

Q: Why are That Girl's Bath and Body soaps differ in size?

A: All of our soaps are made in small batches by hand from start to finish. Making them all unique. Whether its decorative designs, scents and colors. Our soaps are hand cut so every batch and bar will be different. This is why they will vary a little in size. The average weight on all our bars is 5 oz.

Q: What type of payments do you take?

We accept Mastercard and Visa via Paypal on our secure server. We also accept Checks, however the payment must clear before your items are shipped. Unfortunately we cannot accept cash or CODs for online purchases but we will accept Money Orders.

Q: Do you protect your customers private information?

A. Fragrance layering is using products in the same fragrance to enhance the scent. Our soaps are wonderfully scented, but a good soap will rinse clean, leaving only a faint scent on the skin, with its moisturizing properties. Soaking in scented salts will leave a gentle aroma on your skin. Spraying with body mist spritz after bath or shower will add a light scent, which would be increased with a moisturizing lotion. Topping off with our Dry Oil Cologne will give you the fullest effect.

A. Shea butter is an extract of the nut of the Shea (Karite) Tree found in Africa. It is a skin softner and contains Vitamines, cinnamic acid, and natural sunscreen.

As long as it is within our business or return exchange policy. If you would like to return any item we asked that it is done within 15 days of purchase. If jewelry item is damaged (Not do to shipping or you the customers own fault) we will reimburse you the cost of the products returned less shipping, insurance, restocking, and paypal credit card processing fee. Jewelry must be unworn with tags attached. We do ask that you try to resolve any issues with the product before requesting a refund. Why an administrative fee? An Admin Fee becomes necessary in order for us to keep our costs and prices down. A majority of customers never return or exchange items. When items are returned, they cannot be resold. That Girl pays credit card and check processing fees associated with each order. An administrative fee is charged on all That Girl's Bath & Body product exchanges or returns (if applicable).

15% Administrative Fee Covers:

The administrative fee covers the cost of these charges. If not paid by those who returned them, the additional costs have to be "shared" by others. Jewelry Care

Most beads of fine quality have small holes and require the use of light wire for stringing. Please handle your jewelry very delicately & store items flat, out of direct sunlight & away from heat. Never apply hairspray, lotions or perfume while wearing jewelry.

Pearls are porous and need gentle handling. It is best to wipe with a soft lint free cloth after each wearing. If they come in contact with harsh cleaners the outer finish can come off.

There are many porous stones that should not be soaked for any length of time (turquoise, lapis lazuli, opal, coral, onyx, opal). Clean with mild soapy water, rinse, then pat dry. Alternatively you can wipe with a jewelry polishing cloth.

Silver can be wiped with a silver polish cloth or dipped in a silver cleaning solution. Silver tarnishes, a process caused by oxidation. To prevent excess tarnish, polish regularly by gently rubbing with a soft polishing cloth, meant for this purpose. Never dip your items in any type of jewelry or metal cleaner as it will harm pearls and many types of stones. Cleaners also remove the intentional oxidation that we use in some of our beads and findings.

To prevent tarnish we recommend keeping silver items in an airtight environment such as a zip-lock bag.

It's advised to put your jewelry on after applications of lotions, hairspray and perfume. Take off your jewelry while you're gardening, swimming, and doing dishes etc by.

Mixed stones and Silver items are best wiped with a polish cloth.

Matte Onyx- loves oils. If they are not worn for a time a fine grey film can develop. This is easily remedied by the natural oils on your skin or you can rub baby oil to return it to a dark shiny black finish.

Store items, flat to prevent the beading wire from bending, in a cloth bag or box with tarnish-inhibiting strips to prevent tarnish. Vermeil items should be stored in plastic ziplock bags.

Gold Filled items are 14k gold that is bonded to other metals. It should also be stored in a cloth bag or box with tarnish-inhibiting strips.

Gift Services:

If the item is to be a gift please check the gift wrapping box during checkout. Gift wrapping is only available for jewelry and some bath and body products. You may request a personalized gift enclosure to be included with your order at no extra charge. For bath and body products a mere $4.50 per item. Your gifts can be wrapped in a distinctive pretty paper, and tied with a ribbon. Large and drop shipped items cannot be gift wrapped. Please email to verify. A small gift card will be added upon your request with your message. You must enter your message in the comment box in order for us to attach a personal note with your gift. If shipping address is different than billing address please advise in your email. Please send an email with your instructions. Include shipping address and all other information needed. The item will arrive wrapped in beautiful paper with a ribbon. Gift wrapping with note is no longer free and will include additional fee. Please email for pricing.

Please be aware that ever effort is made not to duplicate something created before. Please understand that the ability recreate any item is based on the availability of the components. Also, remember that since each piece is lovingly handcrafted, no two pieces will be exactly alike. All items on my website are handmade limited editions or one of a kind pieces. Depending on supplies, please factor in 2-3 weeks for delivery of custom orders.

There are no cancellations, exchanges, or refunds for custom personalized made to order jewelry. Contact us by phone or email with details on your order. We will make your ideal piece as long as the findings and other materials are available. Also, if you want your old beaded jewelry bought by us restyled into something new and exciting, you've come to the right place. We offer jewelry repair please contact us for information.

*At That Girl we offer repair of jewelry pieces that have been bought from our online store. There will be no charge if bought within 60 days. After 2 months there will be a charge for repair services. Price will vary on each piece(s). You must pay to ship the jewelry back to us. If jewelry is marked with careless negligence you will not receive a refund within 15 days, but we will make every effort to rectify the problem the best way possible.

Handmade Differences

All items on this website are handmade limited editions or one of a kind pieces. While we do our best matching gemstones & materials, note that slight differences in size, color and clarity of stones are unavoidable. Products are made to order to arrive at peak of freshness.

MADE TO ORDER: Most all of our products, except most makeup and pre-designed jewelry, is made to order and each item is made in small batches to ensure quality. This way the items arrive at the peak of freshness to our customers.

ORDER MINIMUM: A minimum of $8 (excluding shipping or tax) must be reached in the cart before the store will accept order.
